   Around 80L or 20 gallons of water are collected from the East River between Apr 22 and Apr 30, distilled, and added to the sculptural installation. Every drop of water flowing in the sculpture comes from the river. By distillation, the "New York-ness" of the water is removed.

part II (click to play)
   A rock from the hometown is pounded into powder and added back to the distilled water cycling in the installation. Hammer smashes on the solid entity of homeland, and crushes it into delicate thoughts and memories. If home dissolves into my blood, will it flow wherever I go?

   It almost becomes the water from the homeland, but what is missing from the liquid? What is missing? What is missing? What is missing?

My blood is made of water from the homeland, this water flows inside of me. I am a flow of water from the homeland, this water is me.
